Review of Limitless (2011) by Tyler S — 13 Aug 2014

A nice, well acted, well shot, taut thriller.

This is one of Bradley Coopers best performances. When he's up he's up...When he's down he's way down and very believeable. He finds a medicine that enables him to access 100 percent of his brain and he skyrockets to unparalleled success. Soon he realizes the meds have negative effects when he runs out and his world starts crumbling. It's just fun to see how the medicine transforms him and how good is acting really is. The movie unfortunately relies on some cliches near the end, but the ending makes you think. There are some cool action shots here too. A movie that keeps you locked in. A good performance by Deniro too.
