Review of Limitless (2011) by Paul W — 07 Jun 2013
A good movie, and an entertaining use of 105 minutes. The glass is definitely more than half full here. On the other hand, with this interesting premise, and this cast, there's also a lingering feeling of wasted potential.
This movie could have been so much more than it was. The irony here is that a movie about unleashing human potential from it's bonds is, itself, so very confined by the rules of Hollywood marketing.
Next time, save some of that NZT for the producer and director, so they can have a bigger vision for the potential of a premise like this.
