An impressive sci-fi action thriller with an intriguing premise, Limitless is a big screen adaptation of Alan Glynn's novel The Dark Fields. Concerning the development of a drug that allows its consumer to utilise 100 per cent of their brain, this successfully marries a great story with great special effects.
A trick that when pulled off, makes for a more satisfying movie.
