Review of Lilo & Stitch (2002) by Mariebella C — 06 Nov 2012
The concept of "child befriends alien" has been overused to death, but they managed to create something different.
Although the alien, Stitch, is wild, strange and aggressive and he learns to have a heart, its the human sisters that really makes the heart of the movie. Their relationships in this movie is so genuine and pure that its so believable. I've never seen a past Disney movie that has ever done this with its character development.
I love the quiet emotional parts of the movie, but I also love some of the alien scenes.
