It was ok. I mean, I understand CLEARLY why I had a difficult time reading the book (like the whole 'phosphorus heart' thing and then at the end she swallows all those candles...)and that the movie was better at communicating the ideas, (I think Mama Elena's secret could've been executed better though.
.. and I had to explain a lot to my parents while watching the movie). I didn't like the guy that acted for Dr. John. He was ugly =[ I pictured him to be more...sweet and silent, not need to talk so much but is able to empathize with Tita.
