Review of Like Mike (2002) by Neale M — 02 Nov 2008
Wow, considering I only flicked on the TV this morning and came across it by accident, it sure as hell got me that intrigued to find out what the outcome was. And it wasn't even a horror film!
Ok, so it was predictable with the kid finding Jordan's trainers and having the faith that he could fly through the air and shoot some hoops, but hey, it was a bit of mindless fun to watch when you're waking up.
The acting wasn't particulary groundbreaking (even if Glover was a tad freaky?) but again, good enough for a sunday morning.
Overall, I give this a 3 star rating. I didn't think it was anything particulary to rave about, but nor did I think it was that bad it shouldn't have been made.
