Review of Like Father, Like Son (2013) by Carlos D — 12 Aug 2014
It's good to know that Masterpieces are still being made. I can safely say there was not a dry eye in the theatre (my own included). This movie seems like a love letter to Yasujiro Ozu and I wouldn't be surprised if the director was directly influenced by the quiet humanity and familial bonds of films like Tokyo Story.
Until now I had not even herd of director Hirokazu Koreeda, but apparently he is a well established film-maker in his own right.
