Review of Like Dandelion Dust (2009) by Jackie J — 30 Sep 2010
Like Dandelion Dust is the story of a little boy named Joey.
Joey's played by Maxwell Perry Cotton, an adoreable young actor who does an amazing job in this movie!
This is a beautiful movie that deals with adoption, foster care, alcoholism, spousal abuse. In spite of those "heavy" themes, it's a great story centered around a struggle between adoptive parents and birth parents and the love of all four for Joey.
I recommend this for all fans of Karen Kingsbury's fiction.
And for anyone who likes a good story, beautiful photography.
And great acting! When I first saw it in June I was very impressed by all of these things and overwhelmed at seeing the characters of Karen Kingsbury's book "come to life" on the big screen. When I saw it last week in Georgia,I was just amazed at how beautiful the whole package is. Our group of 26 all like it, although I suspect some husbands didn't think they would! You don't have to cry, guys! But if you do,.
No one will think less of you for it!
And anyone who loves a good story.
