Review of Lights Out (2016) by Simon G — 01 Aug 2016
A great concept with decent execution but falls short. We see the shadow woman way too early and far too much through the film's short running time.
A more atmospheric approach with a longer running time and perhaps more flashbacks would have elevated this but as it stands, the performances are good enough for a film of this type and things start to really getting going in the last ten minutes which leaves you feeling a little robbed.
