Review of Lights Out (2016) by Enaid N — 04 Oct 2016

To start off I'm not a huge fan of Supernatural horror, the PA films are mediocre at best. So I went in watching this with little expectation of being pleased by the end of it's 80 minute run time.

I couldn't have been more wrong. Within the 1st 5 minutes you're subjected to scenes which bring your hairs skywards. The chilling opening sets the scene for the rest of the film. The visuals are spine tingling, it's put together with such panacity that each time a scare happens, it actually happens. I can not remember the last time my skeleton lept out of my skin watching a film of this sub genre.

Still not sure as to why it's not got the same attention as the PA films, as this is better than all of those put together.
