This looks at a family being preyed upon by a supernatural creature that lives in the shadows. They have fight to protect each other.
What can I say about this film, look there are some interesting ideas and scenes in this that I like but like may of these types of films it was not well executed. its a bit of a mess actually. Its cliched filled with jump scares and bad writing. The young kid in the film speaks dialogue beyond his years which just doesn't sound right or believable.
Teresa Palmer and Maria Belle do the best with what they have which isn't much. (To me Palmer hasn't been in a really great film since 2:37) No doubt some people will like this but I'm not one of them.
