Review of Lights in the Dusk (2006) by Anne F — 17 Jul 2009
This has very much the same style as Mies vailla menneisyytta (The Man Without a Past); deadpan acting and little dialogue. Koistinen is a night-watchman in a dead-end job. He has no friends and his work colleagues won't even include him in trips out for a drink after work.
He is befriended by a young woman and it becomes apparent that she is not interested in him, but in his job and specificallly the keys to a jewellers' shop....
