Review of Lifeforce (1985) by Sean C — 27 Jun 2007
It's kind of a silly movie, but it's enjoyable nonetheless. I always remembered watching it when I was a kid, so I went back years later. The performances are totally over-the-top, but it keeps my interest.
I think it's funny that this is the movie that came after "Poltergeist" for Tobe Hooper. That was a huge hit for him and I'm sure that the movie executives told him that he could do whatever movie he wanted next after such a hit.
I wonder what they must have thought when he gave them "Lifeforce"? I don't know how successful this movie was, but it's definitely a fun movie to watch, probably when you're drunk.
