Review of Lifeforce (1985) by Tasha A — 27 Jul 2008
Enjoyable tosh, with great animatronix. Of course it's dated - it's over 20 years old. However, there's a wonderful cast, hamming it all for all it's worth. Watch this for Patrick Stewart and that head chappie from Spooks with hair and lots of earnest glances.
Of course, there's the obligatory pretty humanoid female who seems to be naked most of the time, but that's a minor detail. It feels like a UNIT-based Dr. Who episode, but that could be a bit harsh.
It's always good seeing a film which blows up London...
