Review of Lifeforce (1985) by Drew H — 12 Feb 2010
I loved Lifeforce as a kid. The female vampire is a great example of 80's all natural hotbod standards. (full frontal shots too yay 80s!) The 'mental' flash scenes are annoying and the story gets hard to follow.
.. but the vampire / zombie action is great. Directed by Tobe Hooper of Texas Chainsaw Massacre fame, it also features a young organ spewing Cpt. John Luc Piccard. Steve Railsback, the lead wasn't able to get work for years after he was very convincing as Charles Manson in the made for tv drama about the Manson family.
I still love him the most as the truck-driver haulin 'rocket fuel' in Armed & Dangerous w/ the late John Candy.
