Review of Lifeboat (1944) by Sebastián I — 29 Jun 2008
Not Hitchcock's best, but still an engaging experience. Hitchcock is one of a handful of directors who could make a story like this, all set on a tiny lifeboat, entertaining and intense. He'd do the same thing with greater results later with Rope and Dial M for Murder.
While it's not his best, it's still highly recommendable for any fan of Hitchcock, as well as anyone who'd be interested in a non-traditional war film.
