Review of Lifeboat (1944) by Matt B — 26 May 2009
Not my favourite Hitchcock movie but certainly one of the best. The whole movie is shot on board a ship's lifeboat with initially nine survivors of a u-boat attack. Tight camera angles and the traditional Hitchcock attention to detail creates a claustrophobic atmosphere that adds to the incredibly small set.
