Review of Lifeboat (1944) by Dennis M — 02 Jan 2010
Interesting premise of people trapped in a lifeboat after their ship gets wrecked by the Nazis. A german sailor also comes overboard the ship and secretly steers their course to an enemy ship!
The complete movie takes place in the lifeboat on the sea.
The movie starts of with a great first act and an interesting enough second act.. but it falters as it comes to the end of it! I felt the movie was not as dramatic as Hitchcock's other flicks.. but then this movie has a heavy constraint on its location which is the lifeboat itself.
It gets boring as the end approaches. Can give it a shot once.
