Review of Lifeboat (1944) by Chris W — 06 Dec 2012
Seriously the most underrated and under appreciated work Alfred Hitchcock has ever done. Lifeboat is a marvel, with ten diverse and unique characters that clash and mesh brilliantly on such a small setting.
Easily the best film of 1944 and quite possibly one of the greatest films of all time. Dramas don't get anymore riveting and intriguing than this.
