Ang Lee's Oscar was well deserved here. The movie is well worth a couple hours for the impressive visuals alone. But this film also engages you with a strange, multi-layered story laden with symbolism.
The acting is also well done on what was undoubtedly an unorthodox set. All in all, well worth the price of admission and more.
