Review of Life of Pi (2012) by Berni E — 18 Apr 2014

The movie was beautiful, exciting and engaging at times, but it's conclusion disappointed me. His the reason why his story would "make you believe in God" was just emotional silliness. I think the ending was intended to be vague too, but it was not.

They gave enough information to know what really happened. I'd never rewatch the film because his visually beautiful, long survival journey on the sea is not interesting enough to stand alone with an unsatisfying reason/conclusion behind it.
