This Elmore Leonard adaptation is not really a prequel but has Ordell and Melanie from Jackie Brown (Rum Punch). Would have been alot better in the hands of a better director. Mos Def is in the Samuel L.

Jackson role and Isla Fisher plays Melanie. Serious twitch off the latter. Starts out as your average kidnapp gone wrong flick and finishes the same way. Nonetheless enjoyable.
