This film got a 96% because the opposite of what Ebert would of wanted happened. It got a positive review based on the subject matter alone. This is a horribly boring doc, that doesn't even come close to personifying its subject matter.
Ebert had so much mass appeal and had so many controversial and yet compelling reviews none of which are even close to be touched on in this film. Instead it is a depressing, laboring film about the last days of Ebert's life which in no way merit a feature film.
It is most disrespectful to his legacy and impact on american film culture.
