Review of Life Itself (2014) by Lisandro Z — 10 Jul 2016
For someone who didn't have the privilege to grow up reading or watching Ebert, I definitely feel like having witnessed (his) life itself through this film. It validates Ebert's core idea of being able to empathize with others through cinema, and reinforces the fact that criticism is vital to engage people further and better into art.
Simply beautiful.
