Review of Life Itself (2014) by Giovanni M — 25 Mar 2015
"Life Itself" is a brilliant and comprehensive look at a man who had a nearly 50-year impact on films. Brutally honest, it is a heavy recount of a mind, personality and face so unique and memorable to anyone over the age of 35.
The sheer weight of what he contributed to the past half-century to the end of the newspaper era, the expansion of the television era and the launch of the internet era of media. If you know of Roger Ebert, this movie will mean something to you.
