Review of Life Itself (2014) by Raymond C — 16 Jan 2015
I thought I knew Roger Ebert but it turns out I didn't and I was enlightened by this film. When the film was over I wished I knew him because he was real and a Chicago treasure, warts and all. I do wish there was less film of his last months because it was painful to see him fading but then it might not have hit me so hard. I disagreed with him many times but so what, I read his reviews religiously because he was good even if I didn't like what he said.
