Review of Life Is Beautiful (1997) by Junhee2 — 11 Feb 2019
I would rate this movie 7 out of 10. I would recommend people to watch it because it keeps you on your feet. The movie also teaches life lessons, such as never give up. One example is Guido never gave up on Dora; he keeps at it, and, finally, she falls in love with him.
Another life lesson is always stay positive. When Guido and his son Giosué are in the concentration camp, he makes a joke out of everything to put a smile on his son's face. After reading the book Night, you get to see what it was like in the concentration camps.
Overall, this is a great movie to watch in class because it gives you a perspective of what the Holocaust was like and the experiences the Jews went through.
