Review of Life Is Beautiful (1997) by Mickmccarthy — 08 Feb 2019
I think Life is Beautiful is as a good movie. I thought it was written very well. Life is Beautiful takes place in Italy. The movie is about a family that gets sent to a concentration camp. During their time there the dad Guido(Benighi) protects his son Joshua(cantarini)from the truth why there at the camp and from getting caught.
I would recommend this to my family and friends to watch this but If I wanted to learn about the Holocaust I would not recommend it. If I had to give this movie a score of 1 out of ten I would give it an 8.
I would give it an 8 because I would say they made it too funny and you don't learn anything from it. In my opinion, I think they made the concentration camps look too nice. What I mean from this is in the movie they give the Jews good food and do not torture them.
