Review of Life Is Beautiful (1997) by Maria D — 14 Nov 2010
A good foreign film. It's always hard for me to give them honest ratings, because I know listening to the voice over actors or reading the sub titles must distract from the film. There was real honest and beautiful moments in this film, especially concerning the relationship between father and son and the sacrifice Guido is willing to make for his son.
It did feel like some of it was dragged out a little to long. Overall I found it a cute little film, probably not strong enough for its content.
