Review of Life Is Beautiful (1997) by Beatrice T — 28 Oct 2015

I thought this was gorgeous. I was kind of tricked by the internet into watching it, and I actually had no idea about... erm, the whole second half of the movie. What a wild range of emotions to feel during a film.

Although my family mostly disagrees, I saw the story as being about hope and strength, especially the strength that comes from love. It's easy to be depressed. It's difficult to laugh in the face of some of the darkest humanity has ever had to offer.
