Review of Life and Nothing More (2018) by Alexaustin726 — 05 Mar 2019
Antonio Mendez Esparza makes this film seem as authentic and real as possible. It depicts the struggles and hardships of an African American family in Tallahassee, Florida. Andrew Bleechington and Regina Williams give an exceptional performance as they play mother and son.
Their on-screen relationship is so organic and raw. The scenes where they are arguing are very well executed. Overall, “Life and Nothing More” truly shows the life and nothing more of this family.
