Review of Life (2017) by Jess B — 25 Jun 2017
Ugh. I really enjoyed the first half hour. It seemed smart, quickly paced, and well-written: a good introduction. But then somebody dies whom the movie would've benefited from keeping alive, and from there on out, the movie has more holes than the lunar surface.
(Don't even get me started, I'd run out of available characters to type this review.) The visual effects and sound were pretty good, though, so if those are your only criteria, you'll enjoy it.
Bottom line is this movie had a great opportunity (even if it was a ripoff of Alien), and missed it by such a wide margin that it's now floating off into outer space.
