Above average Alien knock-off with Jake Gyllenhaal. I think it had the potential to be a great film but they targeted it at the mass idiot market with no attention span. The world leading scientists and astronauts aboard seem to be dumb as rocks.

This, along with a few unnecessary, over the top action sequences and constant jump cuts every two seconds have let it down. The visual effects and creature design are solid and there are some suspenseful moments.
