Review of Life (2017) by Jeffrey T — 04 Aug 2017

There was one giant plot hole which kept going through my head the entire time and made it hard to enjoy the movie. Why were a handful of astronauts including one expert studying an alien life form on the ISS and not on earth where better containment protocols would likely have been established? I didn't know much about the movie going in since I usually wait a long time until it comes out on DVD and eventually get to it but by the first 15 minutes I knew the entire plot of the movie including the ending which was telegraphed early on as soon as one of the astronauts declared what was not supposed to happen.

It's always disappointing to watch great actors stuck in a sub par movie.
