Special effects, cinematography, visuals were top notch but it was a poor Alien clone and the script was weak. And they show the creature too much so it wasn't scary whenever the score became overly bombastic.

Also there was a shot of blatant Sony product placement in the beginning and it stuck out like a sore thumb. But the film had the decency of killing off the most annoying character first.
