If this movie is a prequel to "Venom", then the movie will be considered as a nice set up for the movie. If it is not a prequel, then the movie is a generic copy of "Aliens" with no real meaning at all.
The cast is superb but is rather wasted because of the mediocre script. And there are too many space films out right now which hurt "Life" in the box office tremendously. It's just a regular sci-fi flick.
