Review of Licorice Pizza (2021) by Data1001 — 17 Apr 2022

I've read a few reviews of this movie that gleefully attempt to brush aside the disturbing undercurrent of pedophilia. The director says that "no line was crossed" -- like that matters -- but the fact is that a few lines were indeed crossed. The 25-year old girl showing her breasts to the 15-year old, him wanting to cop a feel while she slept next to him but stopping at the last moment, and of course the final kiss (followed by "I love you Gary!"). The people who claim it's a "platonic relationship" obviously weren't paying attention.

I can't believe this was made in this day and age.
