It took me about 20 minutes for me to finally get into the "groove" of this movie, and when I let it wash over me, I really enjoyed the ride. Alana Haim and her real-life family are the real break-out stars of this movie, and it's erie watching Cooper Hoffman, who really is the son of Philip Seymore Hoffman.
It's uncanny. But I loved all the characters and various storylines that Licorice Pizza weaves in and out of. PTA defintely got the look and feel of 1970's America. His music choices were great slices of Licorice Pizza, too.
Roll with it. Props to Bradley Cooper, too.
