Review of Licence to Kill (1989) by Nick I — 16 Feb 2009

I thought this was one of the best 007 films ever! I mean, sure it was more serious and didn't deal with your typical world domination villians, but it certainly stood out to me nontheless. I enjoyed every minute of it, and I thought that Dalton made a great performance and 007. This one, as oppossed to The Living Daylights, really fit Dalton and gave him an edge that you don't even see with Daniel Craig.

The film is far more violent than Casino Royale or Quantum of Solace, and there is really no comparison. This is a stand alone Bond movie, and is very memorable. I recommend anyone to watch this film, even if you aren't a Bond fan. It's more than just a great Bond film, it's just a great film. Personally, I think it should have been rated R. Check it out!
