Review of Licence to Kill (1989) by Priscillia D — 01 Mar 2009
This is my favorite James Bond movie. The story gave James a more human side and so did the actor. It made James believable I find. I never really likes Sean Connery because I feel like he made Bond invinsible.
I hated Roger Moore because of his sexist and really snobbish attitude. He made me hate Bond all together. George Lazenby in HMSS was not so bad, I liked the story but it was a forgetable performance.
Pierce Brosnan was a new sexy bond, more modern and believable. Daniel Craig isn't as bad as I would have thought. The movie Casino Royale thrilled me and you got to see Bond in the beginnning. Unfortunaty, Quantum was a huge let down for me.
It felt like they were just paving the way for the next chapter. You know, filling in the gaps. But Timothy Dalton is the best Bond for me. A more personal story starring his best buddy, CIA agent Felix.
How far would you go to avenge those you love?
