Review of Licence to Kill (1989) by Brian R — 13 Jan 2010
The Living Daylights was a definite boost for the series and License to Kill was looking to repeat that success. Although lacking a great story, the film features one of the most frightening villains and this one can actually take Bond.
Bond doesn't need to defeat an entire arm,y this time, but rather insert himself in Sanchez's organization to uncover a major drug operation. The film ends with a fantastic truck chase and great stunts but falls short with the classic 007 wit and charm.
MISSION SUCCESS.
