Timothy Dalton gets darker attitude as bond in this movie, Felix Leiter is attacked and his wife killed on their wedding day, which takes bond to a dark place when bond's wife died on their wedding day.
Bond is out for vengeance and his status with MI6 is as a Rogue Agent.
