Review of Licence to Kill (1989) by Caleb N — 27 Apr 2013
The story is about James Bond who has the so-called "Licence To Kill" after his American friend Felix gets injured by a drug dealer named Franz. That's pretty much it. That's why this movie is so boring.
You know revenge is 007's thing at all. His job is basically to protect anyone or anything from a maniac who tries to take over the world; that's his job. While this leaves the template for the future Bond movies especially the Daniel Craig movies but while The Living Daylights was average at best, this film was so boring.
Timothy Dalton has proven now that he is miscast as James Bond and he is not well enough to play the lead hero. which is why he only played the character twice and left the franchise. The music was changed a lot which really pissed me off, the intro credits was shit as hell which again pissed me off and the action scenes weren't that impressive.
I don't understand why people liked this film so much but I found it annoying as hell. Licence to Kill gets a 2.7/10 and it's worse than A View To A Kill which is saying a lot.
