Review of Liberal Arts (2012) by Indra W — 03 Feb 2013
The plot is flat. But surprisingly not boring. I can relate to the characters, except, of course, Nat who is very strange. So, this movie is rather philosophical, ethics and social, I think, but they were delivered in the most subtle and professional way possible.
I liked the theory of handwritten letter, I liked what the writer is saying about hyperbole, I liked how the writer is saying that we can not hate the "vampire trilogy" if we have not read it yet and please try to understand the girls who's happy about that story. In similar way, I can not hate this movie for saying Bram Stoker's Dracula is good when I have not actually read the book. And I liked what the writer is saying about retirement and prison.
In general I liked it and amused by the movie. Way to go, "Ted Mosby"!
