Review of Liar Liar (1997) by Cameron H — 09 Jan 2014
The plot is predictable, kitchsy dribble and the characters, major and minor, seem only to be plot devices, but sometimes, it doesn't matter when Jim Carrey plays the signature role of Jim Carrey, an actor of extreme physicality.
The effort Carrey puts in trying to tell a lie is close to perfection, whether he fails in saying a blue pen is red or calls his boss a piece of cow dung, figuratively speaking.
