Review of Leviathan (2014) by Kenneth R — 16 Feb 2015
A marvelous modern-day tragedy that exposes the poison of corruption and spiritual decay. The setting is a small fishing village in Russia, but the story has a universal message regarding the permanent battle that the small man wages against the powers that be, and in a wonderfully un-hollywoodesque manner, the movie is intellectually honest in concluding that the small man will invariably lose.
