Review of Leviathan (1989) by Ryan S — 20 Jun 2011
In the 1980's, sci-fi horror films were revolutionized by two films: "Aliens" and "The Thing." Indeed, 95% of sci-fi horror films since then have been knock-offs or pastiches of those movies.
There's no finer example of this than "Leviathan," a quintessential 80's film, with a cast that includes Robocop, a Ghostbuster, the dude from "Rambo," one of "Home Alone's" wet bandits, and a Kirstie Ally lookalike.
Good dumb (nostalgic) fun.
