Review of Letters from Iwo Jima (2006) by Brooke B — 12 Jan 2012
A very powerful movie allowing us to see another side of the Battle of Iwo Jima. It offers a look at real emotions and feelings from a side we aren't so familiar with, reinstating the fact that the enemies are people, too.
But the film doesn't take sides, and it doesn't try to push any sort of war messages. It's simply an amazing emotional experience that should be required to see with any other World War II movie.
