Review of Let's Scare Jessica to Death (1971) by Christopher S — 05 Nov 2011
A mentally unstable woman, her husband and a friend move out to the country side and sinister things begin to unfold when they find a mysterious squatter at the house.
This slow burning horror flick is has a droopy pace, but those with the patience can enjoy it for what it is. It unravels a chilling atmosphere until the final reveal, and does the best with its limited budget for effective scares.
A rather nice and creepy movie that shows that sometimes less is more.
