I love Jake Johnson in NEW GIRL and when I saw he was going to be in his first starring role, I knew I was going to be seeing this. And he didn't disappoint. He and Wayans have fantastic chemistry, and the theater was dying on more than one occasion.
The film does slow down about 3/4 through (the premise can only last so long), but the jokes are still constant enough that it doesn't get boring. In a summer of disappointing comedies (Tammy, Million Ways, Blended), LETS BE COPS is a good time.
